A place where tranquility drifts
Like a bright wave.
Where could I go to find it?

The sun rises and sets, again and again,
Cities sink into the land.
People flow away within memories impossible to keep.
I continue onto tomorrow, a fire in my heart.

I tried clutching the sand,
As I gazed afar upon the sea.

Clouds blown by the wind,
Trees and fluttering birds,
Where do they all go back to?

Old voices, new songs, where do they go?
Anyone can keep that flame while holding on to sorrow.
Strongly, silently, whilst thinking of the future.
