Sometimes, when I'm in the right mood and something about Hekiru really moves me, I sit down and make a rough translation of it. My Japanese is far from perfect, so when you find mistakes, do e-mail me. By doing this, I hope that even those who don't understand Japanese can, like me, feel a little of Hekiru's happiness, sadness, joy, determination, and longing.

	Song Lyrics				246 Baby blue eyes		I love the last part of this song, especially where it goes, "Sore demo tokidoki wa, anata o omoidasaseru." The lyrics are wonderful, and unfortunately I cannot do them justice.
					Infinity Baby blue eyes		My favourite Hekiru song, I think. A really powerful and moving song, especially the guitar solo portion and the refrain that follows. The lyrics were written by Hekiru herself.
					Distance Baby blue eyes		This song is just too cool! Hekiru sounds very "hard" during the rap, and the rest of the song is similarly tough and driven. I took some liberties with the wordings so that it would convey some of the want and desperation of the original.
					Kono Yo De Ichiban Taisetsu Na Mono CD Single		One of the strongest memories of this summer's tour. The CD version is very upbeat, but the live version is the one I prefer. It brought me to tears and so I translated it and sent it to Hekiru. Why does it ring a sad note within me?
					Todoketai Omoi CD Single		Strange, I had wanted to translate Watashi no Mirai but when I listened to Bbe suddenly I was overcome with emotion. This is a wonderful song.
					Watashi no Mirai With a Will		The most beautiful of Hekiru's songs... The last song she sang at Budoukan, the song that carries her longings, her dreams, her loneliness. Her future.
					Sora wo Akiramenai With a Will		"It was, for the first time, a song I really wanted to sing," said Hekiru back in 1996. Even now, it has yet to lose it's power and vision. The SL '98 rearranged live version has settled it firmly in my top 3 list.
					Everlasting Train -owarinaki tabibito- CD Single		Life is an everlasting train. Nothing is decided, so keep within the courage to get off at a different stop and take another line. If you have ever wondered where your life was going, perhaps you will love these lyrics as much as I do.
					-Akai Hana- You're gonna change to the flower CD Single		It is a symbol of Hekiru's drive to live to the fullest, coursing like blood throughout her. Bleak and originally full of frustration at a society that would not see past the exterior, it was rewritten into a song still dark but firmly carrying the message "I will not give up my dreams."
					Iro Asenai Shunkan CD Single		On Dec 24th 1999, Hekiru sang an acoustic version of this song at the Christmas party event in Hawaii. I never realized it, but it is a very sad song. I look at Hekiru now, and wonder what she means to say with this song...
					Love Graduation CD Single		There comes a time when you realize there's nothing to do but give up and move on... But even if you find someone new, how would it feel to know, inside, that the person you are with is not the one you love the most?

	Articles / Interviews				Note from Hekiru Starting Legend '96 Summer Special Tour Pamphlet		Was in a strange mood when I read this. It made a rather strong impression so I decided to translate it. However, Hekiru's words are hard to understand... I have no confidence in the accuracy of this one.

	Talk / Radio				Mini Chat 2 Starting Legend "Dash"		I was very surprised and moved the first time I saw this LD. During the second Mini Chat, as Hekiru thanks everyone for their support, she started to cry. It's not the same as actually seeing it, but here are her words.
					Suppin Smile 06 May 98 Nandemo Countdown		Heh, nothing much to this one, but I liked it a lot. For once I understood everything she said, so I thought I'd translate it. Got a little clumsy at the end, but oh well.
					Precious Garden 30 Jan 01 Library		A voice file of corners and talk that didn't make it on air. This one's about... nothing much in general. ^^;;
