Well, I know my whimsical nature a little too well to promise forever, but I do truly love Hekiru with all my heart. Never before in my life have I come across something that captivated me as much as Hekiru does now. Her appearance, her personality, her works... On all levels, Hekiru strikes a chord with me, almost as if she was tailor-made to appeal to me. I love everything about Hekiru. (Well, there are a couple things that irk me but let's not get into that.) It feels like I have found what I had been unconsciously searching for all this time. The page that would eventually become this site was begun on a whim on February 4th, 1998. Never did I even dream that it would turn into this. What was simply a passing interest has grown into almost my entire life. I owe much to Hekiru, learning and drawing motivation from her example. Her strength becomes my strength, and as she strives for her dreams so shall I reach for mine.

What is Hekiru to me? What does Hekiru mean to me? She means so much I would not be able to give an adequate answer. All I can do is trace out my journey from cynic to fan.
